Creating a bar chart using fields

I have created fields using grok filter in Logstash of my logs. I can see those fields in Discover page of Kibana. But when I try to make a bar chart in Visualize, I cannot see those fields. What should I do to make a bar chart using those fields?

Can you check the index pattern page in Management to see if the fields that you're looking for in the visualization field selector are marked as aggregatable?
