Creating latency graph in Kibana

Folks
I am really stuck with one task.
I have access logs which has a value "request_time" (in seconds and miliseconds)
I can't seem to find a way to create a graph which will have that value over time
Can someone help?
BTW, I am so frustrated with a poor documentation and explanation of kibana features.

Hi Peter, thanks for asking your question on our forums. The simplest way to visualize time series data is with Timelion. Here are a couple resources for learning how to use this tool:
