Cross cluster search failed

I have several clusters on version 6.2.4
Ihave another cluster which i configured to use for cross cluster search on all the other clusters.

I'm running into some problem with one of the nodes in the coordineting cluster, when i tried to execute a search from him, it failed to return any results and throws an exception in the logs saying it failed to connect to remote cluster becuse the node X is not connected, even though it is.

Also, when I tried to fetch information about the remote clusters through the _remote/info API, I can see that the cluster has a problem to connect to the remote clusters sometimes.

Any suggestions?
