In a elasticsearch cluster where master nodes, Hot data nodes, Warm data nodes and Co-coordinating nodes are present, on which node the curator needs to be installed? Any preference?
Curator only needs client access, and so, technically speaking, doesn't need to be installed on any node at all.
Feel free to install it where you will.
