Custom jvm.options in ElasticSearch for multinode configuration

my question is where and how do i use ES_JVM_OPTIONS

After checking elasticsearch.bat found that it is required to be set in path

set ES_JVM_OPTIONS=d:\elasticsearch540\config_node2\jvm.options
