Custom kibana dashboard

Hi
I want to customize the viewing experience in kibana and for that i want to list the log event with a custom header like following-

Source IP Source Port User Name

value 1 value 1 value 1
value 2 value 2 value 2
..................................................................................
..................................................................................
value n value n value n

Also i want any of the field like Source IP searchable.
Nicely appreciate if someone points me in right direction.

to show a table like that you can just create a saved search in disover

  • select the fields you want in the left side
  • click save
  • put your saved search on dashboard

to search the fields you can use filters or query bar:

  • click add filter
  • select your field of interest
  • select the operation (is?)
  • enter your value (like ip)

I can view the data in tabular format at the moment.

But for the search, i donot want a fixed value instead i like to add a text box for the searchable value ( like source IP) so that i can search the same.
