Hi folks, I have a machine which has kibana and elasticsearch running on top, with some geospatial data, it is not connected to internet, so i won't be able to hit the openstreetmap url for fetching the tiles for the map visualizations, I tried to install a local map server from the openstreetmap data, but the data set is consuming lots of disk space, is there any lightweight alternative for this?
Unfortunately no. Having all the necessary tiles for all zoom levels results in a large disk footprint. If you do not need all zoom levels, you could look at limiting the zoom level and remove the tiles that support that zoom level and thus make things smaller.
This may also be of help if you have not already looked at it: http://switch2osm.org/
