Custom plugin directory

There is a default plugin directory. But I couldn't find how to specify a path for a custom plugin directory.
Is it possible to put plugins to a shared directory and make ES to load plugins from that directory?

There is no setting to change this value. See https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.5/targz.html#targz-layout

So the plugins dir must be $ES_HOME/plugins
