Data node went offline - data loss?

Hi,

One of my data nodes unexpectedly went offline. I looked at the logs, however, I saw at during the time the data node was offline, there are no logs. I was able to get data node to rejoin the cluster, however, I can see there are only 8 shards in comparison to my other data nodes, which have 400+ shards. I was in the process of doing replications, and I was wondering did I lose data from the indices I didn't replicate for this data node?

Also, is there any way I can check if I did have data loss?
