Data Reports not working without change

One of the environments on 7.6 has stopped reporting total number of hosts on a fixed pattern without any change. It was working fine before the weekend

The data for the index pattern is coming in fine and i am able to see the relevant term

Any ideas for debugging this ?

It appears the indexes are being read however aggregation is not getting processed.
