Missing fields in Kibana

OS : Centos 7.4, ELK Version: 7.6.2

I am trying to count how many hosts are configured in the ELK stack and for some reason beat.hostname.keyword is not pulling any data.

If i use the default metric without any other filter, i see the count ( about 10000 )

Also, i see the the index has a field agent.hostname however i am not seeing it in kibana filters / terms.

Any suggestions how i can use the agent.hostname field to count the hosts ?

Checking if anyone has any suggestions, i believe this may have happened because we migrated data from 5.x to 7.x and for some reason i am not able to filter out the agent.hostname in visualizations
