i have two question.
1: is it possible to disable re-replicate in elasticsearch?
and
2: Is the search performed on the replicate or just on the primary shard?
What is re replicate?
The search is performed by default on replicas or primaries
So yes you can disable shard allocation.
Why would you like to do this though? The only moment I see it useful is when doing a rolling upgrade of nodes.
