This is my first time posting here, so apologies if my post breaks any rules.
Our team relies heavily on Elasticsearch Docker Images (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Filebeat), which currently use Ubuntu 20.04 as their base image:
Given that Ubuntu 20.04 is reaching EOL this May, I was surprised to see that these images have not been upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04, which is supported according to the support matrix (Support Matrix | Elastic).
During my search, I found this open GitHub issue from December 2024. It has been triaged and assigned to Team: Delivery, but there have been no updates from the team since then.
With the upcoming EOL, I wanted to reach out to get a sense of the expectations I can share with my team regarding this upgrade. Any insights you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
