Does Kibana support localization for 10 languages?

We have an immediate requirement for enabling multi lingual support in Kibana (localization/globalization) for our clients. All our dashboards visualizations should support local language. Is there a way to achieve this?

  1. Do Kibana support localization for all the visualizations automatically ?
  2. What are the best practices or steps need to be followed in-order to achieve localization/globalization ?
  3. Please share the documentation to achieve localization?

Kibana currently only supports three languages [1]:

  • English - en (default)
  • Chinese - zh-CN
  • Japanese - ja-JP

To switch languages, configure the i18n.locale setting in your kibana.yml file.
