f there are two pattern's with same name, say for example

logstash- (deafult)*

logstash-*

field_id shows up in logstash- (* default )

FieldID shows up in logstash-*

(Once we delete the non-default index logstash-* , it will show up on logstash-* ( default )) .

Have you seen a similar issue before?

Is anyone aware?

What version of Kibana are you using? You might need to refresh the index pattern to update the fields. In recent versions of Kibana "refreshing the index pattern" is no longer needed.
