Elastic Logging Plugin for Docker: is the connection encrypted?

This question is about the Elastic Logging Plugin for Docker, which doesn't have it's own category on the Elastic forums as far as I can see, but since it is based on Beats I'm posting here. Apologies if misplaced.

My question is simply whether the connection to Elastic Cloud is encrypted when using the cloud_id and cloud_auth connection options?

Hi @kthy

Yes all communications with Elastic Cloud are encrypted.

Basiclly The cloud_id gets "decrypted" into the https URL
