Elastic monitoring default retention period

Hey,

If I ship the metrics and logs to Elastic monitoring cluster using this feature:

What is the default retention period for this data and how can I modify it ? I've found some threads in the forum where this question was asked but most of the links move to documentation that says is deprecated.
