Elastic repos

(Raul Kaubi) #1

Anyone know, where elasticsearch registered repos are saved..? (not the snapshots)

What kind of repos are you looking for? Debian / RPM packages, Docker, Maven?

(David Pilato) #3

They are defined in the cluster state.

Just to clarify, I meant snapshot repos.

Ok, so, if I make snapshot and I would like to save repos also, then use "include_global_state": true and then it should be saved into my snapshot..?
Or cluster state not included in include_global_state..?

Hmmm. Good point. I don't know TBH and I can't look at the code now.
Probably @abeyad can help here.

Yes, if you set include_global_state, it will include the MetaData portion of the cluster state, which will include the repository info in your cluster.

Ok, thanks a lot.
