Hi .. I created a GCP instance and installed elasticsearch in it .. The first time, the REST APIs of elasticsearch work fine, but after a restart of the elasticsearch or reconnecting to the instance ..

May be you did not install it as a service?
Did you follow the setup guide entirely?

But when I install the .zip distribution. It worked.
