Elasticsearch Autoscaling

With the introduction of Autoscaling on Elastic cloud, does anyone know if Scale In is also in place? Or it's just adding more nodes?

I mean according to document:

As you add data to your hot, warm, and cold data tiers, autoscaling will create additional nodes in these tiers if needed, and then grow storage capacity to meet these needs

Question is:
If some cleanups are done (let's say according to ILM policy), Will it remove extra nodes to save in costs?

At this time in Elastic Cloud autoscaling down (reducing nodes) is not supported.

You can do that manually.

Autoscaling down is planned / on the future roadmap, however we do not provide futures release dates.
