ElasticSearch - GC old gen time

hi,
Very new to Elastic Search, I have a system that has generated the following alarm

NRPE - ElasticSearch - GO old hen time

Anyone able to explain what this alert relates too, also, what I need to do to check everything is running as it should be and how I resolve the error
