Some people consider elasticsearch as NoSQL database. I am confused, Elasticsearch is NoSQL database?

Instead of Hadoop or Spark can we store Big Data into ElasticSearch Cluster? Its very easy and complete solution from indexed data to visualization. Why we need hadoop or spark if we have ELK stack.

I suggest asking Hadoop or Spark community why they need Hadoop or Spark.

The real question is, are they web scale, like MongoDB?

Generally we find people store data in ES for realtime analytics. Once that is done and they want to archive that data they put it into something like Hadoop.
