I've been searching around for load balancing and GSLB as related to
elastic search, but info seems to be very sparse (or related to
elasticsearch's internal load balancing scheme). I am implementing a pair
of three node clusters in different data centers as the data store for
logstash and Kibana. I want to place each cluster behind a local load
balancer and put both VIPs under GSLB. I'd like to have at least one
replicate of a data center's data on the other cluster. Has anyone
attempted this? How did you set it up? What operational problems did you
run encounter? My concern is that the latency between the data centers
will reduce insert and search performance too much. Any info and ideas are
appreciated.
