Elasticsearch not move/copy shards between nodes

Hello.

I work with the 1.4.4 version. I saw not shared the shards between nodes.

In the old version did not.

Why is that?

I saw this happening when you are running out of disk space.
More than 80% used.

I often change (for tests only) this setting in elasticsearch.yml:

cluster.routing.allocation.disk.watermark.low: 1gb
cluster.routing.allocation.disk.watermark.high: 500mb
