Elasticsearch on large HW

Hi,
There is request for me to set up Elasticsearch cluster (8.1) on large hardwares.
The hardware of the data nodes:

  • RAM: 384GB
  • Cores: 48
  • Storage: 11.52 TB SSD

Please help me how to set the jvm.options for this setup.

You'd be best off running a few nodes on these, probably using containerisation.

You mean six VMs with 64GB of RAM?
The aim was with these large nodes to reduce the number of nodes (license).

I'd suggest you contact our Sales team, as it's a bit more nuanced than that for hosts of that size.
