ELASTICSEARCH Query plugins/clients

Hi
I have elasticsearch index where few fields of logs/events are stored. Now i am trying to fetch the fields from the index and display them in a customized web interface. What is the best available clients or plugins available to achieve the above task.

Kibana is already running in my test setup but i want to customized web interface without editing/breaking kibana

I don't understand what you mean. How much customized you want it to be?

I mean that in Kibana you can create your own dashboard without "breaking" Kibana.

Thats right, If it is possible then i am ready to fetch fields in the kibana dashboard
