Elasticsearch consumes a lot of memory during load testing. But the main problem is that after the termination of the load testing, the RAM remains busy. Elasticsearch version 6.3.0. What could be the problem? What clarifying information do I need to provide in order to get an answer to my question?
Elasticsearch version 6.3 is EOL and no longer supported. Please upgrade ASAP.

This probably is the OS caching commonly used files, which happen to be Elasticsearch ones. You'll have to consult your OS documentation to find out how to clear this.
