We are planning to upgrade Elasticsearch opensource 7.9.1 to 8.4. while upgrading we noticed multiple data disk path deprecation warning . Could anyone help us how we can proceed further.
FYI, Elasticsearch cluster has 3 Master node, 10 Data nodes and 14TB data !
You cannot directly upgrade to 8.x, you have to upgrade to 7.17. Follow the documentation. Multipath are deprecated since 7.13
But you can still use it. as it is not remove. there is git issue regarding that
