ELK Log Push from Device - Proactive Monitoring

Dear All,

I am looking for a way, by which we can proactively monitor the log push from 100s of devices to ELK. Recently I came across a problem, devices were connected/configured to push the data to ELK stack, but due to some reason it fail to push the logs to ELK. How can I proactively monitor the log push from devices to ELK. I am using Zabbix for proactive monitoring. Any help/support/advice appreciated. Thanks

You could setup an alert that tells you if data has stopped coming into an index, that sounds like what you need?
