I am using 6.3 version of ELK. Using the following configuration in elasticsearch.yml :
- What is the username for elasticsearch ?
- Can i set in yml like bootstrap.username=myname ?
- I need to enable the email option with trial license to show a demo is it possible because if i add the configuration as mentioned below i see the configuration is not recognized message.
action.auto_create_index: true
xpack.watcher.enabled: true
xpack.watcher.history.cleaner_service.enabled: true
xpack.monitoring.enabled: truexpack.notification.email.account:
gmail_account:
profile: gmail
smtp:
auth: true
starttls.enable: true
host: smtp.gmail.com
port: 587
to: raghu@gmail.com
subject: "critical event spotted by ELK from : %{host}"
user: raghuveer@gmail.com
password:
So i see that x-pack is already there with this version and trying to start with trial license, getting following exception :
