Exception while searching from Java

Hi all,

After an upgrade from 0.20 to 0.90.3 (both server and Java client,
both were restarted) I get the following exception when I do a search.
Has something changed that I have not considered?

Regards,
Joost

is it possible that you are not running the same java version on the
machines running client / server. Did you also upgrade java by any chance?

No, client and server run on the same machine using the same Java binaries.

I have localized the problem in a index. When I remove that index, I now
get this exception:

You probably have a node or client on your network that tries to communicate with your node but with another es version or another JVM version.

Could you check that?

Hi David and Simon,

Good call both of you. What happened was that someone else had indeed
started an instance on the same network, and the nodes were forming a
cluster. The other node was running 0.20, so I am assuming that caused
the problems.

Thank you very much for help!

Regards,
Joost

hmm odd, can you show me the output of

$ curl -XGET 'http://localhost:9200/_cluster/state'
