Filebeat on CentOS7 and Ubuntu 16.04

Hey Guys,

Just having a small problem im sure someone with experience can give some input.

If i run filebeat -c filebeat.yml -e -d "" (debugging) i get data streaming into kibana dashboards but if i dont run filebeat -c filebeat.yml -e -d "", no data is streaming. All the services are started and running so not sure why data does not flow at this point without running the debug command.

I can provide whatever information is needed, just really want to understand this.

Can you share your filebeat config? Please check your filebeat log files. I would expect there to have some more information on what is going wrong. Feel free to also share these for further investigation.
