If you are using ES why mix services ?
What is your user case, can you define it any more if you want a more refined answer.
The ELK stack gives you more than data ingestion... you can transform the data through Logstash and visualise it Kibana. What services will you be using with Kinesis?
Thank you. More details on my use case - I am sending logs from on premises servers to Aws open search service. I am looking for comparisons of just using file beat and shipping logs to Aws OS vs using Kinesis agent and firehouse. Thank you.
