Flare.json not loading for TREEMAP

Kibana version : 7.9

Elasticsearch version : 7.9

APM Server version : 7.9

APM Agent language and version : java 1.8

Fresh install or upgraded from other version? fresh install

Is there anything special in your setup? For example, are you using the Logstash or Kafka outputs? Are you using a load balancer in front of the APM Servers? Have you changed index pattern, generated custom templates, changed agent configuration etc. :-no

I am trying to create a TREEMap using VEGA visualization and it says flare.json not loading. I have tried to make flare.json available in http-server and the 8080 port is not used as well by ay other application. i am able to load http://localhost:8080/flare.json as well.

What would be the reason that the json file is not loading. I have placed it locally in data folder.

Can you share your vega spec? Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing.

In general, to load external URLs in vega you need to set a config param as explained here: Vega | Kibana Guide [7.12] | Elastic
