Functionbeat with AWS Elasticsearch Service

Hello,

After searching around for a while and deploying some test functions, I haven't been able to make Functionbeat output logs to AWS's Elasticsearch service.

Has anybody here been able to achieve this successfully? It seems to me that Functionbeat has a hard time dealing with AWS permissions.

According to the subscriptions page Functionbeat is licensed as part of the free basic subscription. It therefore requires a default distribution cluster, which is not available on AWS ES.
