Get document index pattern ID in scripted field

Is it possible to somehow get current index pattern ID from scripted field?.

Hi,
No, you can't get the document index pattern ID in the scripted field, You will only have access available to the document in a scripted field, the index pattern id is likely saved in a different index
You need to query first in order to get hold of index pattern id. You can maybe file an Enhancement request for templated scripted fields, but that'll be difficult to do securely and end up being closed, but it will open up a discussion around it .
