Getting QueryStringQueryParser Error on one index but not on another for dame query

Elasticsearch log is showing
NotSerializableExceptionWrapper[token_mgs_error: Lexical error at line , column 16. Encountered: <EOF. after: ""value"]

The value is a string of 6 lowercase letters which I can't include.
The original query was against an analyzed field (standard analyzer) and the token should be found in the field.

What is this error telling me?

Hey.

you might have different mappings for this field in different indices. Hard to help without more information. Can you create a reproducble example?

Thanks - I was thinking along the same lines. I can't reproduce for you
because by cluster is on a secure network.
