Hardware compability for elasticsearch

hello team,

I have a basic question about hardware compability or dependency with search engine. My hardware consists of NVMe direct attached disks( for better performance). Could we use such alternate raid options like software raid or Intel vroc instead of physical raid controller? I prefer to use Intel vroc technology for raid structure if is not consider any compability issue or dependency. do you mind if I use it?

I don't see any reason why you cant use the hardware you prefer. I think you can surely use whatever you want without any problem.
