Have I seen it correct that the only way to do heat maps is via having latitude and longitude or can I do it via addresses?
Thanks

Heat maps supports IPv4 Range
The IPv4 range aggregation enables you to specify ranges of IPv4 addresses. Click Add Range to add a set of range endpoints. Click the red (x) symbol to remove a range.

Thanks

Elasticsearch does not have a geocoder built in, so if you want to map addresses you will need to integrate that with a geocoder during your document ingestion.
