High load on ES 1.7.6 single node

Hi,

we have an application that doesn't require a cluster (at least for now) and was running OK for a while with only one node.
Today we started to notice high load on the machine with no clear information in the logs.
Searching around I found something about hot_threads, but I'm not sure how to interpret the output. Can someone please help me troubleshoot this high load?

It seems most of the load is related to searches. What type of queries are you running against the cluster?
