Highlight new fields captured in Kibana

Is there a way to highlight newly captured fields in Kibana?

Also, I need to manually go and refresh all the fields for a index. Is there something which automatically refreshes fields for a index?

If you click on Settings, then Indices, then select the index you'd like to refresh, there is a "Refresh field list" button:

However, there isn't currently a way to highlight newly captured fields.
