Histogram not appearing on the Discover page

Hi,

I'm a new user to Kibana and I'm setting it up to read from an apache log file. When I look at the discover page, I see the records, but there is no histogram. Previously, I could see the histogram, but then I added geoip from logstash. Now no histogram. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I'm using version 5.4.0

Sorry, I see that my question has already been answered here: https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/2495

I set up a pattern that wasn't time-based. Recreated it and now all is working as expected.
