I can see that the data folder path variable accepts multiple folders. I would like to know if it is possible to hint Elasticsearch process to move an index from folder1 to folder2 after a certain time. Essentially, this would allow me to specify a hot folder path and a warm folder path in the same process.
No it is not so you will need two or more nodes.
