How can I change index dynamically or pass an index in the URL for expression editor?

I am trying to create a canvas with multiple elements. Each element could be using a different index or two or more elements can share the same index.
I want to pass the index value and LIKE statement for the query in URL so that it will be easy for my team to just change the end point dynamically in the URL and get the results.

Since you could have multiple data sources inside a Canvas dashboard, you cannot set the index pattern from the URL. I don't think you can achieve this using Kibana.
