How can I monitor Logstash?

Hi,

I am using Elastic GA 5 stack . The architecture is FB -> Kafka -> LS -> ES . At the same time, LS is using other inputs using jdbc too. I have X-Pack installed. I would like to monitor the activity of Logstash in Kibana. Is that possible?

Also can I suggest you check the docs before asking stuff, I know it can be hard to know where to look, but that is a top level page for the Logstash docs and like some of the other stuff you've been asking, can be easily solved quicker than a post here can be.

@warkolm I understand that there are 4 APIs. How can I send them to elasticsearch in regular intervals? Is there something like metricbeat / should I make one my own?

Somebody tell me how to send Logstash health info as an index to elasticsearch periodically?
