How can i use ELK 8.3.3 without security enabled?

I installed ELK 8. x on my machine, a single node.
also enabled xpack security as without doing this I cannot add any agents.
cert I'm using is self-signed.
Now when I install the agent in the local machine it sends logs,
but another agent on Nginx hosted elk.mydomain.com the agent is successfully installed but not sending any logs. logs stream is empty.
can this be resolved?
is there a way to install an agent in elk 8.x without using xpack security or something like this?

please let me know if you can guys can help with this issue.
