How restore a snapshot taken from es version 6.X to elastic search 5.X?

I have a taken snap shot of index from elastic search version 6.3.0 to aws s3. Is it possible to restore it to the elastic search version 5.5.2?

You cannot do that sorry, you can only restore it to the same, or greater, versions.
