How to aggregate particular field in kibana index

Hi,
I have configured filebeat>logstash>elasticsearch>kibana to get jenkins build logs.
in Kibana i am receiving logs under which field-message which shows build job status(successful or failure)
i want to make that particular field aggregatable and visualize build status with pie chart.
can anyone help in this?

Hi,
There should be a 'aggregatable' column in the index field table in Management -> Index Patterns, which lists all the fields that can be used to aggregate.I n order to use the field for aggregations, the type should be keyword .
