How to create "index pattern" with C#/NEST API? (creating a saved object) [7.X]

Hi, I'd like to know the proper syntax for creating an index pattern/saved object using the NEST API. I've tried using the code here, but nothing is ever created when I check manually via Kibana.

I'm trying to re-create this object, with "msgDT" set as the time field.

Any guidance would be much appreciated!
