In an environment of monitoring 100 server using packetbeat, How do i know that all 100 beats are running fine and i data is streaming ?
Is there any configuration to be done at beats side ?

Yeah,I have gone through this but , in production we are not using X-pack.
If we don't use x-pack what are the ways to monitor Beats ?
You should! It's free and works really well
If you aren't using that, then you maybe you can use metricbeat to monitor the packetbeat service.

Could you please elaborate how Metricbeat can monitor packetbeat.and if we use metricbeat/packetbeat/filebeat/heartbeat what are the ways of monitoring them.
